Objectives

Human resources management (HRM) focuses on an essential component of organizations, that is to say the employees. HRM has a profound impact on all those who are involved with the organization and on organizational performance.

The course focuses on the concepts and techniques of efficient human resources management. The aim is to know, understand, be able to analyse evaluate and use the notions and management tools available to human resources teams.

  • Biases in personnel evaluation and selection decision processes

Important:

The teaching of this course is based on exercises, scientific evidence and its practical application, including the interpretation of statistics. To optimize learning and results, it is necessary to attend and participate in each class, to participate actively in exercises, to take notes and to revise the slides that are availalbe on the course website.

Pre-requisites

Seats are limited to 60 students. If you wish to participate, please send a motivation letter (via email) to the responsable teacher, Matthieu Légeret (matthieu.legeret@unil.ch). Given that the number of seats is limited, it is advisable to send the motivation letter as early as possible.

Once you are signed up, you will receive a confirmation by email.

No additional sign ups, beyond the 60 seats, will be considered.
